Webber Jr. plays BeBe Winans in the autobiographical musical about the gospel and R&B singer.

Watch Hamilton standout Donald Webber Jr.—currently play Aaron Burr opposite Lin-Manuel Miranda in Puerto Rico—perform the powerful title tune from the Broadway-aimed production of BeBe Winans’ autobiographical musical Born for This in the music video above.

Gospel and R&B singer Winans makes a cameo appearance in the video featuring Webber Jr., who is set to play Winans when Born for This comes to New York (theatre and dates to be announced).

Born for This, which chronicles Winans’ struggles between family, faith, and fame, is directed by Charles Randolph-Wright and produced by Ron Gillyard and MyDestiny Productions. The musical has previously been seen at theatres in Los Angeles, Atlanta, Washington, D.C., and Boston.
